Most car photos (in motion) are taken one of three ways: 1. vehicle to vehicle - where one vehicle has the photographer and they try to match speed of vehicles and shoot with a slow shutter speed. This is difficult as the vibrations cause camera shake. 2. boom mounted on subject vehicle - they attach a (usually) long "arm" to the car with the camera on the end of it then shoot remotely with a slow shutter speed. The reflections of the "boom" are then photoshopped out in post-production. 3. car is photographed stationary and then the photoshop gurus add in the motion blur in post-production. I've attached the original photo I used for reference. When my car arrives I'm going to pull out all the stops and try a few things (including a suction cup mount ).

Do you guys realize the OP started this thread in May of 2006? It's no surprise he's not replying to all the responses.
