We pretty much had the entire place to ourselves... with the exception of MBZ who was doing a big unveil of the gullwing, and it's race version. they were even doing a micro electric car autocross downstairs, no waiting.. walk right up.

I'm paying the $$$ next year...I was under the impression that going with the CCA meant we had free domain starting at 9am. We were held hostage, NYPD walking around, couldn't leave the BMW area till 10am, when the masses came in.

Yep, definitely do the Gala Event... Here's a few pics of the middle of the evening, and the actual "crowds" you have to deal with, all while walking around with a high-end cocktail (pardon the quality of my cellphone pics):
