$50 for a picture?

Some guy shot it and sold it to lappers charging arm and the leg…but I thought it is worth to pay him, where else I could see my car in Car and Driver setting…

that's cool, the local rate around here is a bit more, but we get to choose from about 2 dozen shots and we get a CD that gives us the full sized images. nice helmet

I wouldn't have worn that red helmut...it clashes with the Sedona Red of your ONE

A good set of Cross Coil overs and H & R front sway bar would take care of that body roll:biggrin:

I'm guessing he was stock? My car rolled that much or worse at thunderhill on stock suspension...

It’s all stock (135i with sport package), body roll didn’t felt that bad from inside, but obviously it is soft. What felt weird - quite squishy brake pedal after ~10 laps, sometimes even giving in and going down while breaking. Maybe changing brake fluid would be simplest way to improve?

P.S.
Red helmet and gloves is from the time when I had silver Viggen…then contrast was beautiful.

BMW brakes are notoriously bad, uprated pads and discs (2-piece when they become available) would be the most cost effective solution.

If you are a real track junky you should consider a big brake set-up.

Colour matching the helmet would be awesome.

this is what you get for free if you ask the wife to use the small digital camera. I think the $50 bucks is worth it. Next summer I'm hopping to have one with my 1er.

whats with all the comments about the helmet color --- what difference does it make...i don't think fashion is its primary purpose.
car looks great.

I read elsewhere in this forum a post that suggested that the simplest and cheapest fix for using the 135's brakes on the track was to change out the brake fluid to a good brand racing brake fluid; it suggested the primary cause of the "squishy" brake pedal was the standard fluid getting too hot and boiling. So you might try that before you spend big bucks for the other mods to see if it solves your problem.

That shot is worth it. I would blow it up to poster size, frame it and hang it in your garage or other place. Pretty cool shot.

I did one with BMWCCA, but they require an inspection every 30 days which is a pain, it is still fun though. Both Park Place Motors and Speedware have events there I did, and the rest were with Don and the Proformance guys. All were in the 135i starting in April, just three weeks after I took delivery. Don always has the redmist photos guy there. Here are a couple they have taken of my car.

May 13th - I love the one with the rain coming off the hood and some of the high speed ones...I purchased those in print, but not digital. http://www.redmistphoto.com/gallery/...95205826_JBjp3

July 22 http://www.redmistphoto.com/gallery/...37788989_ySYRo

Oct 1st - First session with the new H&R sways and Z1 Star Specs....amazing difference! If you 3XLarge the last pic you can see the 1Addicts sticker on my helmet!

You get all the pics of your car from the event in 10M for $50. Not a bad deal if there are some cool shots of your car.

Templedogg - love that third from last shot on the Oct 1st link (back 3/4 view). Badass shot. Wheels look killer in motion with all your trim and tinted windows. Looks like a blast too.
