Ultrasuede Trim
Couldn't handle the wood anymore and decided to cover the trim with ultra suede. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Looks 100x times better than the wood IMO. Also took the opportunity to go over the boot stitching with some red thread.

What couldn't you handle about the wood? IMO what you did looks retarded. (No offense, just really not my taste.)

I think there is a time and place for wood trim but a performance oriented car is not it. Quote:
Thanks. I got my inspiration from the trim on the 1M. Thanks for all the feedback! |

I bought the fabric this time last year but just got the motivation to do it. I checked my purchase history but it looks like the person is no longer a registered user. I just searched for 'ultra suede' to find it the first time around.

That's a good job! What spray adhesive did you use, was it industrial strength? I only ask because I'm about to do mine in DiNoc and I've been reading about it peeling in the summer heat. I may double the adhesive power with your spray.
Looks nice dude. |

Hey cristopher... Not my taste either, but hey...to each his own, right? I have no desire to start changing out interior surfaces. Call it my lack of patience, time and talent.
Enjoy your 135i!

Looks really good. I'm waiting till it gets a bit warmer to do my dash trim. I think the trim near the shifter is a bit overkill tho.
