Bro,
our prayers are with you...I get out in 9 months and am worried about stop loss...

Use Servicemembers Civil Relief Act.....section 305 allows you to return the lease with orders...

The MSRP on a 128i is $25K and 135i is like 27K using the BMW MSP...
Just return the lease...save all the hazard and danger pay and buy the car outright while you are gone...

you can order the car, and then have it delievered any where in the country paying only the destination charge which is like $790 or something...

Stay safe, God's speed

BTW, sorry to hear they called you back up. Stay safe when you get here.

that one just puts a limit on interest down to 6% (or Fed. Reserve min) for the duration of the deployment

good luck buddy, should see ya there soon.........

Yeah, I think I have made my decision on this. I'll return it and I'll try to find out more about that MSP while I am over. Just get one while I am over there, hopefully it would meet me at home, instead of having to go thru that wait again, lol.

Yeah, AT&T let me out of mine no problem. All they needed was a copy of my deployment orders.

Keep Your Head Down

My son-in-law has been there twice, getting ready for a third deployment.

As it turns out, I'm involved in selling military equipment to Iraq, paid for with Iraqi national funds. (All up and up. I'm on contract to a DOD agency. Alas, no commissions!)

Stay safe and God bless.

That sucks, I thought you meant the BMW is recalled at first. :-) But this is worse. Stay safe out there, perhaps you will be back soon if Obama wins.

Thank you all for your kind donations to the link in my signature. I really appreciate it!! I now have 8 days left til I fly out for Ft. Benning, GA and only 6 days til I turn my baby back into the dealership. Everything is in order, I have worked my last day of work and I am in straight party mode now. Gotta enjoy it while I can. Again, I thank you all for the support and will try to maintain communication while overseas.

Hey brother I know the feeling trust me. I was off of active duty for eight months back in '02 and got Mobed for OIF1...i was pisssssed.
Is the company you work for holding your job for you? For me it was fine because they held my position AND paid the difference in pay upon my return as well (minus taxes). Keep safe and in touch with us here bro...if you need anything we'll try to hook you up (right guys???...LOL)
