Awesome build OP, I really appreciate the methodical approach you are taking with this build.
That being said, I was wondering why you decided not to use the E9X M3 hood (with the aggressive looking bump), regardless it looks incredibly mean. Can't wait to see more pictures and progress!

Phase 2 - The S65
The s65 has officially arrived back at the shop and we have been busy working to get the N54 (and driveline) out of the Clone 2.0.
Still some more tear down to do on the E82 before building it back up, but we have the heart of the build back now!

Phase 2 - The S65
We have completed the tear down of the rest of the car and it is now a shell ready for wiring and then reassembly. We did find the donor front subframe was cracked so we picked up a new OEM one to replace it.

There will be some as we go through the wiring, but the interior is mostly going to remain intact so no need to rip it all out.

We are in the process of completing the wiring... lots and lots of wiring.
The good news is we are using the factory connectors and wire harnesses so it will all look OEM once complete!

I'm sure you don't hear this enough but truly amazing work here. Very inspiring to a lot of people including myself. Maybe one day I can accomplish such a build as this one.
