Btw, let's do a mini meet at the Calamvale Hotel at 10:30am. Leave by 10:45am?

It might be a handy to bring UHF radios for the drive in as well if you've got one.

Doesn't bother me what time, its only 2 mins up the road. But I would like to get there early to see some cars running

I'm in for this... Still wanting to come along and just watch/catch up with everyone.... Seems like a good excuse to take the day off work..

Any chance you guys can have another meet point closer? I suggest getting off the Logan motorway onto Centenary Hwy and going that way as it's quicker... and goes right by my place! :-D

A you will get track fever after this event. It's a great feeling being able to unleash these cars to their full potential in a safe environment that's perfectly legal. Your DCT would feel so slick on the track too

I've got a friend coming over from the city that will be spectating so it depends on what time he arrives to mine, I've asked him to come early though.

Are you able to meet at the Calamvale any earlier Rich? It's fairly central to Karl and myself.

Last time I missed a turn-off and got lost and had to drive through Ipswich!!

Hey Richard,

If you don't want to come up to Calamvale, we catch you on the way through, Centenary Highway is the way I go anyway.

Sounds like the best plan. Mini meet 1 at the Calamvale Hotel then mini meet 2 off the Centenary Highway to meet up with Richard. Just need to pick a spot.

I read you need to have 2 track days under your belt before you can take passengers...

Also, I suggest Macca's at Springfield Lakes, it's the easiest place to just hop off/on the Centenary. So maybe I will get there at 11.15ish?

And another thing... what kind of clothing do we need (apart from helmet)?

Sounds good Richard, we'll lock that place in. Are you able to meet any earlier? It would be good to get there early if we can to watch some of the other beasts out there, but I'm easy with whatever time we decide

Dress is the same as the drags. Full sleeve, long pants and enclosed shoes. I really need to get my hands on some decent overalls though

Ok so 11am meet at Springfield Lakes Macca's. Vin, the other one you are refferring to is in the Orion shopping centre. There is only one standalone Maccas there. The first one coming from the Motorway just off the Hwy.

Ill be out at Booval in the morning seeing a client, so Springfield isnt too far for me to meet either, I'll finish up with the client after 11 so can meet anytime after that
