wheel help!
Hello Guys,
For the past few months I have been trying to find a set of wheels that is different, but suitable for a 1 series (DAMN OFFSETS!!!). I have seen some fantastic wheels that I like but aggressive body modifcation is required to make them work. Others are Rare and the price tag reflects that! Anyhow, I have sort of gone round circle and want your thoughts on these style/colour options. Best of all they are 1er fitment specific. Please give me your thoughts... VMR V701 Custom Polished VMR VB3 Custom "Sunken Treasure" The one that got away: too much $$$$$'s and aggressive fitment issues CCW LM20's I am awaiting a response from VMR about the possibilty of "sunken treasure" on the V701 |

Thanks Angus. Yeah I like the polished on dark look too, I came across the "sunken treasure" colour today. They say that it looks quite dark in low light and gold in direct sunlight.
And CCW's you are looking at close to $5K once its ordered shipped and cleared dutys, then you have to buy tyres... |

Hmm... Not sure about Gold on a BMW.... I know they're not really "gold" but might make it look a bit too "Subaru"...

I agree that they look fantastic in the photo's above... Guess it depends on the look you're going for... Personally I'd go for a lighter wheel on black - unless you're going for the "murdered" look...

Personally I think they look too brown... I reckon they'd look fantastic in direct sunlight but not a fan of them in these pics...

Yeah... First problem is that the car is dirty. Second problem is that the light is bad. Third problem is that those wheels are WAY too small for that car...
Unfortunately it's the best I could find... |

Why not look at Enkei or Bbs wheels from yahoo.jp? If you want a classic or unique wheel, that's the best place to look. Most sets i see on there come under 2-3k delivered (for 19" Bbs' that is)
