Downpipes and Mass Inspection
Hey everyone,
I was just wondering what everyone with DPs on their cars have been doing to pass inspection?? I was thinking of going a JB4 for my tune and was wondering if people are able to pass with just that or if you guys need the BMW DP Fix on top of that??? Any insights appreciated Thanks

I have DPs and a JB4 will not work to pass inspection if you run catless. You can set the JB4 for auto code clearing, but when you go for inspection it will obviously show up as you cleared your codes. Therefore none of the sensors in your car will have had enough time/miles on them to know if they are running correctly. You will need the DP fix V3 from burger. Trust me, I tried...

codes aside, i don't think your car would pass the actual tailpipe emissions test, with or without the BMS fix thinger.
i know there's something about new cars not having to be tested for the first few years of ownership....i forget the details but it's probably worth checking the RMV website
