Thx Kevin from **********s.com

Few details about my girl: 135i, 3400km, 225 / 45 / 17 winters all around, stock all the way.

Just had the 'aFe Dry Pro Filter' installed 3 days ago, I already see a significant increase of mileage as of my daily driving to and off work (all city drive). One thing I did not expected to happen is the exhaust sound abit louder, which I got it as a bonus. (Of course, under 100 bucks product could not compare with those $700 exhaust). All I can say, I am very happy with the 100% fitment and filter from **********s. Forgot to mention, everytime I give gas on the pedal, it just feels alot smoother than the OE filter.

Kevin from **********s! By any chance you are reading, thx for your e-mail respond! Helpful info always get a from us!

BTW: nice packaging from aFe!

Here is a few photo, nothing much, but enjoy!

So this is that safe way to go if you are looking to get an aftermarket filter? I've read mixed reviews about the greasy/oiled filters...

Yea, that's why I went with dry filter instead, altho air passing might not be as great as the oil one, but I don't think the different would be that big. At least it is much better than the stock filter IMO. Another good thing about dry filter, they won't oil your sensor!

Baby: Yes, BMC and K&N filters are oiled filter, and I don't think they have N55 filter availiable yet.

Pays to read the product description!

I can't help but wonder how this can filter better than 5 or 6 OEM filters for the same cost.

Max: I think you misread somewhere, you can choose to have "Pro 5R Oiled" or "Pro Dry S" filter from the drop down "filter type". The one I bought is the grey color filter, not blue. You will know how the filter works out if you ever try them, I had the K&N drop-in on my previous G35, and they worked great also. As of now, I am trying the Dry filter, and it seems even better for me, coz I am lazy to do the oil !!!

Thanks Kcc for trusting me and **********s with your aFe drop in intake!

Pictures look great too, can't wait to put them up on my website. Glad to know everything worked out well and looking forward to helping you with your future orders.

Can someone explain how an air filter increases the exhaust note?

I uses detergent to clean the dry filter, seems fine with a great amount of dilute. Anyone have any commend?

Liked the dry filter alot, easy cleaning and you could just dry it with a hair dryer after wash.
