Quaife/Wavetrac installation Sydney

Hi guys, I want to know if anyone has had their LSD installed in Sydney, mine is welded so it will need machining. If so where and how much?

I know they do it but who actually machines it?

or you could wait till mfactory bring out their ring gears which hopefully will be soon.

They dont have the welded diff solution (the one I need) as yet. When the option does come out for a welded diff what will be the process to install?

I got mine done at ALS performance Talk to Andrew Schmidt for details (02) 9680 0773

He doesn't outsource. He does it himself and is recommended by Southern BM who are the distributors for the BM Quaife here.

Was about $400 installed for my welded. Cheap!

Thanks for that, I spoke to Andrew this morning, he isn’t doing the machining anymore.

I also spoke to MFactory overnight and they are working on the 135i 6MT ring gear, they expect it to be done in the next 2-3 months and will be made so it can fit all LSD’s including Quaife and Wavetrac.
