It was more likely pulled as a person posted what could have been considered slanderous material about another person. Both the owners of the board and the poster could have been held liable in a court of law had the person being slandered decided to react. Hence thread was pulled!

Seriously, the banning of Andrew is a huge loss. He's been a big help to myself and many other members here. Andrew has received NO financial gain from me and didn't seem to look for any.

Like you as original members of this forum, when we all knew sweet FA about the 1er, Andrew was a great help to me and all with info on and off the forum..

He has even sent me a rear BSM spoiler for the 1er, that he had lying around after he replaced it for a customer..
Gave it to me free of charge and Andrew even paid for the freight..
And, I have never even met Andrew.. Only spoken to on the phone and forum.

MAJOR MAJOR LOSS TO THIS FORUM.....................

i too think he was a genuinely nice guy. Even though i hadn't had much to do with him, he was already offering to go out of his way to help me after hours (although decided i couldn't take him up on it).

Anyone here have the know how to start up a new forum??

I have already received ONE VIOLATION notice from the moderator back in January this year for a mischevious post I placed on another forum..

I am probably still on a "good behaviour bond" from then..

Will have to be on my best behaviour for a while..

Maybe Larryn can explain to us why Andrew got ban, although I understand that it was the E90 forum that banned him, so maybe Larryn has no idea what went on. But I echo what everyone here has said about Andrew. He is one of the most knowledgeable guy on this forum on the 1 series (certainly in Australia!). I am a paying customer unlike many of you, but let me tell you that in real life he goes above and beyond what I pay him all the time! Heck, he (and the other half of SBM, Jimmy) drove 1.5 hour on a sat evening to fix my car when I had an issue in a race! And moreover, he didn't even charge me for it! I don't know about you guys, but you don't find shops like SouthernBM around very often, and you don't get guys like Andrew on a forum helping out everybody very often!
