Bremmer Kraft Wheels?

Every once in a while I go to Tire Rack's website to see if there is anything new that's been released for our cars.

Went there today and hadn't seen this one before.

They will apparently come in an 18" staggered setup, but no offsets are listed. They aren't too bad for the money, wonder if anyone will step up and order some.

Looks a bit like the Breyton but without the angles in the spokes. Come in Silver for us old school types?

Gill, I only see the black wheels with pinstripe on your site not Silver. Maybe they will be added later.

I'm not sure. No measurements yet. I'll update when I know.

With no suspension mods done, will these offsets (40f-45r) cause any kind of rubbing or poking outside the fenders? Im def looking to stay within the fender line

They're not really an ideal offset, so we'll see how popular they are, although they are better then most of the 3 series wheels people are passing off as 1 series fitments. Stock and lowered cars won't be able to run anything wider then the oem tire sizes that's for sure. These are 5mm more aggressive then the fitments people consider to be flush. So even a 225 would stick out from the front fender. And judging by their design, and being cast they'll definitely be on the heavy side as mentioned already.

I ride on 18x8 et 40 wheels (not the Bremmer Krafts) with 225/40 General Exclaim tires. The shoulders are somewhat squared. I'm also lowered on H&R OE sport springs. The tires do not stick out from the front fenders BUT...they are so very, very close that they give an illusion of sticking out depending on what angle you're looking at. I have not had any rubbing issues but then again I don't go flying across large bumps and sharp dips in the roads.

I would say an 8 inch wide wheel with a 40 offset is the max without sticking out from the fenders. If you go with an 8.5 inch wheel then you MUST go with an offset of 45 or more.

I should have worded my post better. If you wanted to guarantee a tire size that would fit across all tire makes/models for both the front and rear, then stock sizes would be recommended for those offsets. A lowered car will hardly gain any negative camber, and if your running an aggressive summer tire like an RE-11 or star spec type of tire, then it has the potential for some rubbing. But in truth the front isn't a terrible offset, you just have to be aware of how close you are.

It's the rear that is the bigger issue, as 255's on a 9" wheel at that offset are much, much more prone to rubbing. I don't think you could guarantee extreme summer tires in a 255 to fit back there without rubbing under load, so you'd be stuck recommending the oem size (which would be stretched) on the 9" wheel.
