1 series price increase

I keep hearing about the pending price increase, but a ton of articles online say the 1 series, as well as the m3, are exempt. Am I missing something? I appreciate the help.

That would be surprising news if the 1-Series is exempt from "the pending price increase" - please cite the "tons of articles online" on this so we can read them for ourselves.

BMW increased option pricing and the delivery charge recently and that included the 1-series.

Agreed, it's VERY frustrating. I have an 09 production number which I can't trace yet and no idea how much the price will be going up. BMWNA is cutting this very close. Audi and Mercedes have had their 09 configurators up for weeks.

I just checked the production status on my 2009 135i and was told that the base price went from $34,900 to $35,600 or about a 2% increase.

Not sure about any increases on options but the destination charge stayed the same at $825.

Good thing I asked for and got a cap of $500 on any increase in 2009 pricing and should realize an increase of $500 instead of $700.

That should cover the tinting.

Nutz!

Yeah, I thought I was smart waiting for an 09. Since there was just an increase in options and delivery charge in June I thought BMW would not raise prices again.

Even with the price increase your 1er will be bring a higher price down the road than a 2008.

It's pay me now or pay me later regardless.
