Leasing a 135i
Guys,
I just emailed several dealers in my area trying to purchase a 135i. I want an alpine white, manual with very few options. Do you think it is reasonable I could get a lease for $400.00, with $3,000 down for 36 months? Thanks guys! |

By my calculation, which are based on money factor and residuals I saw a while back (57% and .00263 respectively), to get a $400/mo payment with $3000 down, the out the door price would have to be $30561.
Looks like the invoice of a 2009 135 without any options is $32750, lump on another $1000 for training and delivery, then the dealer will want profit too. So I would say no, not going to happen. With a $1000 for the dealer (total of $34750), you might get a bite. That'd be $467/mo with $3k down. Use google spreadsheets and plug in the lease calculation, can be found on this site. Until you are doing the numbers yourself, it's very easy to get lost in the lease pricing.
