135i Coupe Choices

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums, and before I ask a quick question i have, I just wanna say that I've been cruising the threads for a few days now, and it is truly amazing how many 1 enthusiasts we have on here, and how creative and different everyones vehicle is.

Anyway... I'm going to be ordering a 135i coupe, however i cannot decide between Titanium Silver with beige interior and glacier trim, or Montego blue with black interior and black trim. From your experiences / your opinions, which do you think is generally a nicer choice. Any input is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Hey Bill,

Personally I do not think the biege will go well with the silver. Try to go with a dark exterior color with beige. I just ordered Montego blue with black and aluminum trim. I also was considering the Montego with beige...Good luck with your choice.

Montego, black with glacier trim. The black interior needs a little accent.

I think the TiAg will look great with Savannah. Like Silver and Gold. I have the Glacier trim on my car as well and I think it looks better and has more character than the standard gloss black. It also provides more contrast as black trim on a black interior would just be too dreary for me.

Scan the galleries for examples. My existing beemer is very, very similar to Montego and Savanah. Looks very sharp except the leather did not hold up on the drivers seat (10+ years). Elsewhere it looks almost new. The problem with black is that it will get very hot in the summer. On the other hand, it's pretty fool proof. If you do silver, consider coral. The silver is very neutral so the coral can really make it pop.
Check out Silverbullet's car to see the best Titanium package on the planet.

silver is really easy to keep clean and is a subtle, understated color, classic german color.

I ordered a 2009 135i coupe with Silver and Terracotta/Black with Light Burl Wood Trim.

I like the throwback classic look of the 40's and 50's with Sinatra tunes in the background.

Agreed.

TiAg would be my pick out of your 2 choices.

Between tiag/montego with beige/black I'd have to vote for montego with beige.

I realize it isn't a combination you were considering but the beige seats work very well with montego - better than black imo.
