Has Anyone Gotten M/T Fluid Replaced Under Warranty?

As the title asks, has anyone ever had any luck getting a transmission fluid replacement done under the actual warranty? My transmission can be notchy (a few times I have felt it grind every so slightly) going into third even when warm. I am not shifting it hard either and every other gear is buttery smooth. Before complaining too much to the dealer about this I will definitely get a fluid change done but wouldn't mind getting it done for free

What does everyone think?

Won't hurt to ask. Are you the original owner?

Won't happen. According to BMW the trans., like the diff. is a "lifetime fill". Personally I change them every 30k. miles.

Redline MTF (likely best for your warm climate) or D4 ATF or D6 ATF for cooler climates.

Another gray area for BMW. They say the diff is a lifetime fluid yet they recommend changing it at 50k or if the car calls for it. Of course it wasn't covered under warranty or extended maintenance. I ended up just having BMW do it since they had my car for the Vanos Recall at the time.

Bought my car used CPO, came with service documents since it was serviced at the dealer I bought it from. The previous owner brought the car in at like 5,000 miles and complained of rough shifting when cold. The service documents show that they changed the MTF. Guessing they skipped the diff based on the condition of the fluid when I changed it.

Doubtful, as has been said Its a "lifetime" fluid. Lifetime refers to 100,000 miles.
