Kosei K5R 17s max tire width
I purchased a 135i recently. It has the Dinan Koni set up. I've got some Kosei K5R wheels, they are 17x8 and 17x9. 25mm ET front and 45mm ET rear.
I'm looking to get the Dunlop Direzza ZII star specs for the summer. I know they run wide, but I'm wondering what width I can fit under the fenders. The sticky's say I can run 235, and 265, but I'm guessing that is stock suspension. What's the max width I can get on these Kosei's with the Dinan Koni suspension? |

On the rear, a 265 may rub a little over bumps, and a 255 would probably be fine. On the front though, the offset is way off and those wheels will poke out like crazy! I have run 245 on a 17x7.5 ET40 and those poked out a little but didn't rub on stock suspension. You'll likely rub (and maybe even cause fender damage) with ET25 front wheels on a lowered car.

You have 225/45 tires on 17x8 ET25 front wheels with no rubbing? That's surprising, but if there's rooms with the 225s then 235s should be alright.

Looks good! And looks like there's plenty of room for wider tires. 235/40R17 should be fine, and I bet you could get a 245/40R17 in there without too much trouble
