This particular review did remind me of his R8 review and that is not a bad thing at all... |

I did watch it live on TV as I happen to be in the UK this week! Now, did you read all my message correctly?
I'm just saying that the track was DAMP, not WET as a person above was saying. I know very well it got a better time than the M3 ... on a damp track (and with a different Stig at the wheel) not 'in the wet'. Small detail I know but just trying to keep it real! |

The Val. orange looks great in person. I had my doubts but after seeing it courtsey of a 1M owner at the dealership. I can't imagine why some one would get a special car like this in boring black/white. It is a special car and looks good in special M specific paint. No offense to black/white 1M owners. But every other car on the streets these days are black, silver or white. Get away from plain jane boring and buy a more enthusiast like color. If I was to buy i1M hands down Val. orange.

And I don't know how you define rain. The windshield wipers were on and there was precipitation on the windshield. You should know that tracks are often just as slippery in light rain. OIL. |

tracks are actually more slippery when it just starts to rain, because all the oil is lifted.
After it rains for a while, the oil film washes away and it actually gets a bit better. Didn't you learn that in driving school?

I had a feeling Jezza would like it, since he really does love all M cars. I just wished they gave it 360-380HP 400 would of helped justify the price a bit more, but that is easy to remedy. Also then it would of been faster than an M3 which is not a good idea for sales.
I may have to get one in a year. I loved how JC defended it so vigorously though against that microbe Hammond.
