Finally!!!! ... Sensible posts about Active Steering. I'm Impressed.

And, unless I'm mistaken, it uses a sensor on the steering column built in Janesville, WI on a machine I helped build. It kind of makes me sad to not buy my 135 with AS but I'm already stretching my budget to the breaking point...

OK, got a chance to try out Active Steering in quite a few cars during the Susan G Komen drive event.
It was quite handy during parking lot maneuvering, softening up steering and making turn-in a lot more crisp than without active steering. I found it as easy as parking my old Jeep Grand Cherokee, feather light and very quick ratio steering (turn, and it turns exactly where you want it to go). Very neat feature. Would I want it in my 1? No. Would I want it in my daily grind vehicle? Yes.
