Looks like fun. Was it on private property?

LOL
(it was on a private skid pan with safety marshals and ambulances on standby, right?)

Hi Tay,
Have you ever done any events at EC skidpan. I am a member of the WRX club and do events there all the time (4-6 a year) in my other car (WRX with around 400hp): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVe7IyEn3EY It's really not that expensive, and much safer and you can do it without the stress of someone calling the cops on you. I am pretty sure the BMW club does some events down there. -- Adrian |

If there was about 15 people interested we could organize a group booking for a day on the pan at EC, it's awesome fun. |

I would expect to pay more for a privately organised day (2-3 times more), but get more time on the 'pan'. That is my MY98 track car. It is registered, but only used on the road when the 135i is at a workshop or something.. or once a week to work to keep the battery up (tiny lightweight battery). There is not much of it that is MY98 anymore..... 2.5L sleeaved and closed deck block, sti cams, ported heads, FMIC, AVO400L turbo, headers, exhaust, 06 STI 6 speed box and rear R180 diff with plated centres (makes it handle like that when sliding), coilovers, 343mm front brakes, race dash etc.!! It handles great on the skidpan. It is very predictable and I can do continuous 2nd gear donut slides the size of the skidpan, or figure 8s. It is a great fun skidpan car, and pretty handy around the main track as well, and can do 11s at the drags to boot!! -- Adrian |
