M3 diff conversion

So, I have been reading on various topics now about swapping an entire m3 subframe with diff and replacing our e-diff with a proper lsd. I have seen various m3 complete rear ends for sale on ebay and as far as I'm concerned it will be more of an upgrade with lesser costs than buying a quaife lsd or something similar. now the main question is, will a 3.85 manual lsd work without issues with my gearbox? I don't really care if it will be uncomfortable or too low, I just want to know if it will work without giving me issues. I think that my current final ratio is 3.23 and I already find it too high for its power let alone replacing it with a 3.15 dct diff. anyone can shed light on this or has anyone tried this?
thanks in advance
