Trying to change headlight bulb, please help

I have a 128i 2011 coupe, with angel eyes/xenons. However I am trying to change the H8 Halogen bulb for the Daytime running lights on the drivers side as it has died... I got the clasps off the plastic cover, however I cant figure out for the life of me how to get the cover off.. tried searching couldnt find any tips.. Does the airbox need to come off to get it out? thanks

Don't have to remove any additional components. Clips pop off each side, then the cover should pull up and off. Check out the link below.

N54 135i M Driver Light Cover

I was about to post about the very same thing, trying to replace the driver side D1S bulb and it has been hell. All the videos I have found either does not match my car exactly or they don't address the driver side. In my case there is some sort of a stabilizer bar blocking the light back cover and I cannot figure out how the lower right side of the bar is bolted on. Has anyone changed the driver side? Hoping not to hear I have to remove the light. Good luck with your situation and sorry for the

Just FYI, when you're done make sure you secure both clips for the cover. If you get moisture in the housing it can get very expensive.
