Thanks guys. These are two completely different cars with different purposes. Each one has its own strength and weaknesses. Just like I said before, if I had to choose only one, it would be 1M.

Yeah, those are U.S. spec unfortunately. In order to meet Dept. of Transportation safety requirements, the U.S. Boxsters have protruding bumper guards in the rear.

Not to beat a dead horse, but can you elaborate a bit more on the strengths / weaknesses of your 1M and Spyder? Aside from everything else, which one is more fun to drive? Thanks!

Ok thanks for that i've never seen them before, wonder why US D.O.T think you need them as i dont recall seeing them on any other international market cars before. Kind of a shame as they spoil the look of the back of the car......still looks cool though!
