Need Help: Eisenmann Race vs Meisterschaft Sus-GT - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Hi guys. I've been doing research for quite a long time on axle back exhaust. Just for your information, I'm looking for a deep tone in low rpm and aggressive sound at high rpm for my 2011 E82 135i (N55). I don't really care for the high rpm though since my area of commute is just in the city that doesn't allow me to stretch too much around the rpm and I will just do highway trip during weekend and that's the reason I want better sound in low rpm.

So, here goes the Eisenmann Race (2x83mm) and Meisterschaft Sus-GT. Those two will be my final choices and no other exhaust brands. I'm curious if any of you here installed Eisenmann Race as your axle back. How does it sounds? What is the difference between each tips (2x76mm, 2x83mm, 4x76mm)? I'm quite sure that I will choose 2x83mm tips if I decide to buy Eisenmann Race but just curious about the differences beside how it looks.

Any videos or sound clips for both exhausts? Me personally never really heard those two exhausts in real life and wondering if any of you would help me to decide by mentioning your experience with the exhaust. Are you satisfied with it? What do you feel about it? Also, I plan to do just axle back mod without any mods to the MP and DP, in other words I will keep my N55 mid and use either Eisenmann or Meisterschaft axle back.

Let me know guys if any of you knows more about those exhaust systems and wiling to share and help my research. Appreciate any comments and opinions. Thank you guys, really need your help!

I haven't heard either on the 135i, but I have heard the Eisenmann race on an Audi R8 and it would be pretty obnoxious for a DD. You should also consider the Eisenmann sport.

I heard the sport is not worth it even though it's much cheaper for about $500. That's why I'm thinking about the race one. After all, I will only do muffler mod and keep every other pipes stock to reduce the possibility of making too loud exhaust sound.

I had an Eisenmann on my e90 330i for 2 years and then replaced with the BMW Perf exhaust because I couldn't stand the drone when cruising. Obviously this comment doesn't apply to an n55 135. I can say though that my 135is with the BMW perf exhaust is unbelievable.

So with that being said, will the amount of drone on your 330i the same on my car which is n55 135i? Is it really bad drone in cruising speed? I think my n55 is now making a little bit drone while cruising but only when you really listen to it. Have you ever heard Meisterschaft? How does it sounds compared to Eisenmann? Thanks

Im considering the BMW performance exhaust, I haven't heard any sound clips or hp gain numbers, did you notice a big difference, BMW website doesn't say too much and 1250 is a reasonable cost

I would consider either - but quite expensive when compared to other catback systems. I dunno - black chrome tip exhaust is like a 300 dollar option

I know but quality is what matter to me. Even though most of them are well built but I just want to be sure that I spent on the right exhaust. The eisenmann that I'm looking for is an axleback not catback

Much, much, much cheaper than the price you stated as 1250. This is from a local BMW dealer near my house but they ship out as well.

It is sound really good but I don't really like how it looks on the diffuser itself. Meisterschaft looks just to short in terms of the tips. Compared to Eisenmann, Eisenmann tips are pop out more than Meisterschaft. Maybe it's just my personal taste but I do like how Meisterschaft and Eisenmann sound.
