Spare Tire Kit for 2012 BMW 128i Base

Hi All:

Can someone recommend where to get this kit. We need to remove the Run Flats and the Kit is needed.

Thanks in advanced!

This is not a spare but this is one option:

This is an option for a spare:

I don't do either of these, I just carry a Viair 70P compresser. My leaks have always been slow leaks where a compresser would get me home.

ebelville, I went the used (not so used) route:
http://bmrparts.com/
It was $200 shipped for the steel wheel/temp spare and jack. I had an extra breaker bar and other tools so I did not get the lug wrench. (I believe that would have added about $20 more) Hope this helps.

I went the "used" route too from BMRPARTS. I had a custom cover made for the spare. I wraped the used jack in bubble wrap and put it next to the battery along with a breaker bar and 17mm deep socket. The spare takes away from trunk room, but there is still room for plenty of stuff.

You have so many options... Some buy new either from a dealer or aftermarket (LeatherZ, BavAuto, ect..) some buy the Mitsu mini spare wheel and the correct tire from a dealer or TireRack. Some go the junk yard route. I bought mine for a BMW dealer over here.

You can see what I use on page two, post #27...

ebelville, I see you're from my old stopping grounds (PR), so shipping could be a deal breaker - especially from CA. You may want to look into the 5 series temporary spare as a vialble solution, should be a few of those over there...

I was going to wait but I guess next week I will do my spare kit write-up. I'll let you all decide afterwards if it needs to be a sticky.
