Lost my boost +engine light!

OK so today i was driving around in 36 degree heat and all of a sudden i felt a big flat spot whilst accelerating and i think my JB4 reset itself (did a guage sweep and DTC was reset back to normal (full-on not partial off as per the setting). Engine light came on and car was still driving ok (no limp mode). Only issue is that i had zero boost.

Anyone able to help out with this scenario?

u had zero boost or it was in map4 and felt slow?

Sometimes when shit like that happens Jb4 will default back to OEM.

You need the JB4 usb cable asap Elee to view any codes, then log for further diagnosis

I usually run with map 2. Zero Boost, didn't even hear the wastegate rattle!

Drove it today and all is back to normal.

And yes Steve i know.. i'll be seeing you in a couple of weeks too

Sounds like you jumped to map 4 - could've been overboost safety feature or something else. I've had jb4 reset on me once whilst driving and it immediately put me in map 4.

get the usb cable if you dont already. Theres far too many variables to possibly be able to identify what the cause was

haven't driven the car since last post. Drove around today and discovered still no boost. If i half throttle to 3000rpm i get engine light and/ or flat spot and JB4 resets itself.

Even when standstill.. giving it a good rev will have the same results.

ALSO. under deceleration there's a nasty rattle sound till it hits 1000rpm and then silence.

I think a trip to ADVAN is coming up this week to get it checked out.
