I went to Global Imports in Atlanta, Georgia to pick up some parts for my BMW e21. They had miniature models cars on display. The parts "dude" told me they were 3 series. I disagreed. They appear to be the 1 series and the are motorized by a magnet for $3.99. I bought a Le Mans Blue.

For something a little different

Here are some very small Kamq models which are approximately an inch or so long, now I know these may not interest a lot of people especially when you see how much they cost.

The models are hand made and are available as resin kits and a few have already been completed by the person in Japan who makes the kits.

I have bought some Classic Mini Cooper kits in the past without any issues apart from having to use Google translation ordering was quite simple as the chap speaks a fair amount of English.

The Silver BMW 2002 Turbo that has already been built and hand painted costs 15,000.00 Japanese Yen - approximately £104.28

The other models are available as kits and range in price from 3,600 - 4,000 Japanese Yen - approximately £25.04 - £27.80

The 2017 Nürnberg Toy Fair is from 1st - 6th February and then the photos hit the internet so I will see if I can track some down, either that or someone else may hopefully upload some on here.

I think that I am correct in saying that Minichamps will be the first to ever produce an E30 BMW race car in 1:18 apart from the E30 M3 race cars of course?

OttoMobile produced a couple of E30 Road cars in 1:18 and Minichamps have produced E30 Road cars in 1:43.

The Corgi E30 Road cars in 1:43 were terrible

Come on Max Riviera Blue when are Minichamps going to produce the later E30 325i Sport with a Mtech II body kit?
