Help on buying 135i
Looking at a 2012 135i listed for $30,500. 30,000 miles. Options include premium package, m sport package and heated seats. CPO. Located in Arizona. What do you guys think? Over-priced? What would be a good offer/purchase price?

Seems high to me. I'm selling my 2011 135i with the same miles and Premium, Nav, and M Sport for 28K. And mine has the same extended warranty through 100K miles as a CPO.

Seems high to me. I just bought a 2011 with the same options for 23K w/45K miles. No CPO though. They really hike the price for that around here (PA/NJ) Usually 3-4K more!

I just bought a 2012 135i convertible with new owners warranty until may 2016 then 2 additional years of CPO. It had 27k miles and was fully loaded and I mean it had every option in the book and was in pristine condition. I paid $30,491
I got the alarm, gps, hk sound, parking sensors, m sport... Everything! I'd say you can do a little better. |

Look, there is always going to be somebody who got a better deal.
Bottom line, yours is a solidly decent deal, but maybe not the greatest steal in history. I've been in the market for six months, looking at every 135 on the market (though I have a very specific list of wants). What you got is a decent deal - nothing to be ashamed of - you definitely didn't get screwed. Could you possibly have gotten it a little cheaper? MAYBE. Depends on the market. Bottom line is this: are you happy with what you got for the money you spent? If yes, just enjoy. FYI, I just settled on a 2012 M sport, 6MT, Premium, Convenience, Sat Radio, heated seats, 23k miles, black grille and BMW PE for $30k even. There is a piss-poor touch-up paint job on the lip of the trunk lid (by the way, people, if you are thinking about using touch-up paint, just don't - you are an amateur and it WILL look like shit). I'm going to have it repainted professionally. |

Price is too high. It depends on how much time is left on the full warranty and maintenance, it's 4 years from the first in service date which might have been in 2011. I would think $27,000 would be a fair price with at least a few months of warranty before the CPO starts.

Does it have navi? If so, seems like a good deal at that price.
