Cobb Stage 1+ Aggressive ST with AT
I normally run the 1+ Sport map but yesterday I flashed the 1+ Aggressive. When I put it in drive and started to pull away the transmission was slipping really bad.....felt like the E brake was fully engaged but it wasn't. I put it in sport manual and it jumped gears once or twice and then ran fine...even when I switched back to D it ran fine. This happened the last time I used this map too. Weird.....
Has anyone else had this happen? I'm wondering if I just need to reflash the AP with the 1+ aggressive map.... |

Hmm that certainly doesn’t sound right, I ran STG1+ aggressive for months without incident outside of 2 phantom limp modes. Was it a cold start? Could just be your trans being a bit cranky after sitting around all night, or the DME not playing nice with a new map for a block or two. If it is a persistent problem that is 100% not normal, you shouldn’t have any clutch slip on the STG1+ maps. I’m a huge fan of them but they don’t produce the type of power that would really give the 6AT trouble.

Give it a little time to adapt and see if it clears up.

Thanks for the input.
I switched maps after driving the car for about thirty minutes so everything was up to temp. The trans is solid, that's definitely not the problem. Feels like the DME is confused at first when the aggressive map is used.?. I'll try reflashing the AP. |

Turn off the DME? Do you mean DTC? Turning off the DME…I don’t even know what that would consist of, but your car wouldn’t move lol. Assuming you mean DTC, no you can run any of the tunes with whatever traction assist setting you’d like, now for datalogging you need all the nannies off to avoid any throttle closures.
