Cool!

What size / ET are the Kosei's?
What size NT-01's?
Square setup?

I ran Kosei + Star Specs on my E90.
Now running OZ Ultra + NT-01 on my E82.

A bit of rubbing on the inner fender plastic, may need to raise a bit, or get more camber in the back.. already at -2.0.. so probably just raise it a bit.

Wouldn't that bring it out more; it's rubbing on the outer part, but inside the fender wall.. just finished rolling them a bit, and raising it up about 1cm.. so let's see.

but, I sit most of the summer, while you're probably out tracking so you can catch up easily.. way too hot, and not a dedicated track car yet, so gotta sit out from May till Sep or so.

oh yeah, I forgot about florida's summer. I tell you though, last summer I had a track day and the temps were around 100 and humid. it was one of my best days. rode the car really hard and not once did the engine temps or the brakes over heated. on the last session of the day I was chasing a late model cobb sti with aero and r-comps. well after 20 min of hard chasing the sti pulled aside and let me pass because he was over heating. need less to say after I passed him I continued for another 10 min WOT and posted my best time at this track. I have a video of the chase on youtube. conditions couldn't have been any less worse than what florida has to offer in the summer

Summer's are usually around 100-105, but humidity's the killer anywhere between 60 - 85%, which makes it feel like it's 120 outside.. could give a day a shot and see.. but just don't wanna over do it, till I get a daily beater to drive around.

For sure; I won't be easy to miss, the beat up AW 135i.

----------

On a separate note, looks like I'm going to have to go and get a bit more neg camber in the rear.. don't wanna raise the car making it higher and less predictable.. It's rubbing just a bit on the rears still.

maybe somewhere between -2.2 to -2.5 camber and 3/16th toe in.

That's a lot of neg camber...the shop that did my alignment said you don't want to go over 2 deg of neg in the rear...

In this video did you have an external mic connected to the GoPro?

I ask because there's no wind noise, all I pick up is wind noise mounted anywhere outside.

Yea, I've heard the same; but I think most Alignment shops are more concerned with tire wear than with actual track use, unless you got it done at a performance shop.

Where I get it done; they're very good, but it's always about tire wear.. maybe I'll roll a bit more tomorrow before deciding.

I just wish the NT01s came with a 245/40 sidewall in a 17, not a 245/45.. the sidewall size made all the difference.

Where I got my setup done was a race shop...they used the 35 race cars there as basis for my alignment lol.....

The other thing you have to be careful is when lowering too much and trying to get the camber you want is it really starts messing with the tow in/out settings...at least thats what they told me...

yander, yes I have an external digital audio recorder in my trunk with the mic taped to the bumper over the exhaust. of course you need to sync the audio and the video. was tired of the stupid wind noise from gopro. funny thing, I love the sound of the exhaust right up to when your're WOT, then all you hear is a big vacum cleaner sound. I guess that's what you get from a turbo charged exhaust.

Ah, ok, yea that stupid wind noise sucks, I like the outside view but that noise kills it.. Thanks

So, I had to end up getting more neg camber in the back -2.3 to be exact; and some major rolling.. but looks fine. The front with the Vorshlag Plates is fine all the way in at about -3.2, it's actually okay at -2.5, but I set it all the way for the track.

The alignment tech didn't seem to concerned about -2.3 camber and 3/16th toe-in.. so no big deal there, seems stable at high speeds..

I've been running the K1s and NT01s all week just to get all this out of the way before I put my stock wheels/tires back on.

Just thought I give everyone a heads up; I'm also massively lowered in the back on KWs, and didn't want to raise the car, as it makes it wobbly at the track
