So, essentially the only sporty color combo that will go with Jet Black is Coral Red? Give me the Saddle or Terra!!!

Having second thoughts about the one series, maybe its time to look at the 3er...

I agree. The US combo choices really suck, imho.

They do that all the time. I collect the brochures and have spent many hours analyzing all the pictures in my 'office' - you know what I am talkin' about!

They usually denote that it is a European model though.

Because on my current car I did just that, and it's perfect. On this car, the price outweighs the point of buying the car (low cost), therefore it makes me feel like it would be cheaper just to go with a 335i.

The fact I'd have to make a decision like that though when getting a relatively pricey luxury car seriously offends me. Therefore I would take my business to another company. After all if they are dumb enough not to have saddle leather on the car, do I really want to be dealing with that sort of company? For all I know the special geniuses in Leipzig could have filled the oil pan with live chickens.

Dear Santa: Please bring me 6 pot front brakes and 2 pot rear brakes on my 135i. Dont let the elves (BMW) make a mistake when building a potentially amazing car.

As for color combo: Maybe its boring, maybe its elegant... Jet Black on Black Leather or Alpine White on Black Leather, thats my choice! I cant wait for this car to come out, then next month before LA is going to be crazy, the girlfriend is already tired of hearing about it...i should buy her flowers!!

I don't know what to think anymore. I don't doubt that the dealer provided you with an ordering 'guide' but it seems to me that I will trust what they put on their official bmwusa.com website more than an ordering guide that could be a few weeks/months old. On the bmwusa.com website terra is an option and that website was put up less than a week ago so what gives? It doesn't make sense to me that they would limit their options like the 'guide' states. I think we simply wait til a configurator is up and running on the US site with PRICES.

C'mon guys, is this your first messege board. People make up fake broshures or sneak a pre-production story board from the Marketing publisherhouse and put them on the web.

Certain colors could just be placeholders for when they shoot the real broshure for publication. This car is 5 months out... let's not forget this.

Eh? The US Brochure, including weight misprints and info that differs from the ordering guide, is downloadable from the BMW USA 1er microsite. Clearly neither document is fake, but both are sloppy.

Keep in mind we know this car will EXIST with Terra in Germany and the UK, but that doesn't mean they will bring that color over to the US.
