Can't decide if I should....

I have the BMS LED angel eyes sitting on my table unopened and want to install them, But after reading all the horror stories about them causing adaptive headlight issues I'm debating on just selling them & going with a PIAA H8 bulb instead. decisions decisions decisions!

I had no issues. All issues would be user error. You have to be careful as to where you put everything in the headlight housing. I've heard of others using double sides stick tape or Velcro too.

I've had no problems either. I've had them installed for over 6 months now. Just make sure to stick them to the plastic cover somehow

I've heard of sticking the ballast to the cover, I'm just paranoid I guess.

My 135i had both lights fail so I won't be going aftermarket again.

Did you secure the ballast to the back of the cover?

Not really true. The product is of questionable quality, IMO.

I couldn't get mine right either and ended up selling them the day after they arrived for a $20 loss. Had condensation issues, then adaptive light issues, then total headlight failure which thankfully wasn't permanent. This was right after they switched to the "new design" with far shoddier looking oval ballasts that are near impossible to mount reliably with tape because of their stupid shape.

I'd honestly say stay away. I'm sure other solutions can pull off the same effect with fewer than two oddly shaped ballast things per side. It's just a risk. They looked really cool, it was just too much of a risk for me to keep them on.

So I took the plunge & decided to install my BMS angel eyes today. I did the passenger side first and it looked really good, So I jumped over to do the driver side real quick got it all back together and low&behold the driver side isnt working. I checked all the connections and cant figure out why it isnt working. I think I may have got a bad light in the kit.

I guess you guys can say "I told ya so" now.

Try to connect same led light to other ballast and see if it works if yes your ballast is bad. If you will leave your leds check 10x if wires are free to move if ballasts not touching anything and if your covers are back in their places.
Then rest a bit and check again
And you should be fine.
