Widest wheels i can safely/ comfortably fit

Does anybody know if I can fit a 18x9.5 rota grid on my 135i without rubbing. Ill be lowering it about 1-2 inches. These are the rims http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=6734

No, not without rubbing and serious camber and fender modifications. Ideal offset for a 9.5" wide wheel is about 58mm. That offset is 20mm too low, meaning the wheel would be out of the fender another 20mm (just under 1"). You would need to run some pretty narrow tires and camber for it to not rub.

That picture shows me nothing about tire width, camber mods (aside from it being quite low), or fender mods. I never said it wouldnt fit period, i just said that the work needed would be fairly substantial.

Edit: And for what its worth, it looks like the tire profile is substantially lower than stock, assuming those are still 18" wheels in the Rota size that you posted above. The picture also doesnt say anything about the brand/size/offset of that wheel. Also, the bolt pattern is not correct for our cars. You need 5x120.

Aside from the width and offset not being ideal, the bolt pattern is wrong. You need a 5x120 wheel.
