Finally bought one of these. I do realize ECS has it for like $110, but I'd like to avoid that if possible lol, considering the retrofit kit (which is NLA) was like $80 new.

Who's gonna hype me up to cut a hole in my dash?
Maybe Rob can hype you up!

Could manual, heated M3 seats plug-n-play into my car with manual, heated, non-sport seats?

EDIT: Today, I washed it, FINALLY! And I detailed it and waxed it. Cleaned the wheels and used Armor All for some brake dust repelling, which it needs desperately.

Also, is there a safe way to mount a 6- or 5-point harness to some aftermarket seats without having a full cage, etc. Would a Schroth Quick-Fit harness be appropriate for HPDE's and Autocrossing with normal seats? Anyone have any experience with these harnesses?

I use the Quick-Fit set up for HPDEs and find them to work just fine. I only have comfort seats currently and these made a big difference.

Sweet! If they can hold me in place better, then that's immediately worth it. Though, I've found some nice looking non-fixed back sport seats at Summit Racing for a very good price, but I don't know about getting something off-brand...

Next mod??? The world may never know...

I put some cheap yellow LED lights in the halo's.
The color is spot on and exactly what I wanted. Not quite as bright as I'd hoped ... plan was to use them to help improve road visibility in weather. HID and rain makes it difficult to see the road markings. Hoping an addition of yellow improves it?

Time will tell.

Getting new PSS put on the rear today. Gotta love the warranty for 15k. Tires died at 10k. Out the door cost of $202. Didn’t bother with the America’s tire warranty.

lol rear tire warranty on a 135i. That's a horrible deal for the tire seller.

If you're going through fronts faster than rears, then it's your alignment. Rears should go out in half the time of fronts.

If you rotate tires correctly, or close to it, they should go out together.

I did a wonderful drift turning left out of a friends neighborhood. Perfect kick-out, held the slide, and smoothly transitioned to straight-and-true driving. I felt very proud of my car. No LSD, and I can still do mad-ish skids, yo!

Can't rotate staggered setups.

Yes which is frustrating b/c I recently put on M3 control arms & had an alignment done when I put the tires on.

Anyone have the proper alignment specs handy for M3 control arms on front & stock rear?

I'm looking into installing a nice, sporty seat (Sparco, etc Reclining Bucket) on the driver's side of the car. Is the seat occupancy sensor an issue on the driver's side of the car? Also, is there a way to emulate/code out the existence of the airbag on the side of the seat? Even some cheap-o solution works for me, I just don't want any lights or any more beeps and dings. Is there a thread that has already gone over this?
