I like the sound of the PROcede. The datalogging capability is particularly tasty. What sort of connection are we talking? USB? Firewire? Presumably you need to run a cable from the ECU into the cabin. Correct?

Some run it into the car, I just leave mine dangling out of the top of the ECU box. Codes are currently viewable on the reader software you'd install on your laptop. |

I can think of one guy over here who already works with Motec and the Procede might be a good addition to his stable. He does good work with tuning and setup of cars (ex lap-record holder at Wanneroo) so his reputation wouldn't be bad to have behind your product. He isn't a specific BMW tuner AFAIK although he works on anything that goes there. I can't recommend any BMW specific people here as this is my first BMW. I know most of the Porsche (is that a swear word here??) tuners here and there aren't any of them that I'd recommend. If you're still interested let me know and I'll pass along the details. |

Hi Guys,
I have just received some more stock of Procedes, and I am wanting to move them. Until now I have been offering them for $1500 supply only, but I am going to offer them for $1495 fitted in Sydney, and Andrew from Southern BM will do the same deal in Melbourne. In addition, I am willing to do a taste test. If you are unsure about the Procede and would like to try one, I can loan one to you for one week. You can try it and decide whether to remove or pay for it at the end of the week. We know that our product speaks for itself!! New features added recently include dataloggin of oil temps, and engine oil temp safety control. The Procede monitors the oil temp and will turn down the boost to keep oil temps in check. This includes when oil temps are cold or hot. New feature coming soon... map switching from dash buttons without the need for keyfob. Cheers, Adrian |

Hi,
I'm in Brisbane and been running a Procede for a while now and have experience with the install, software, datalogging, fine tuning, etc. Give me a shout if you need any help. |

I have another question: say I want to limit boost on full throttle openings to 9psi in 1st gear(manual trans) to maximise traction but then go full boost in all other gears...how do I go about programming this or is this something you can do?

In the Procede, we have adjustable boost for 1st and 2nd gear... so you can do exactly as you say for these gears. The Procede detects the gear that the car is in, and applies a revised user torque settable by the user these gears. Cheers, Adrian |

Definitely interested in it. Was looking to order JB3, but if this can be had here with local backup I am really leaning towards this. Will PM you.
