I think you missed something-- with evolve you can keep the emissions stuff or eliminate it (and still pass plug in obd2)-- totally up to you. With the other tuners, you have to keep the emissions equipment to pass plug in ond2. That's an evolve benefit over the other tuners, no a downside

Lost me power? The car is down on power with and without the tune - even considering this, the car still makes more peak power than before and more than an Evolve car. Stock headers, stock exhaust no CELs to worry about.

You and your brother think it's your way or no way, and you're simply wrong. AA offers a objectively better product (for intake and basic exhaust car) for a lower price and higher gains.

I don't even own any AA products, I'm as objective as it gets!

Challenge:
If we put stig's car on a dyno, and it's making more power: will you start saying, in your purely objective opinion, that evolve makes the best tune for the platform?
(Dynojet in sae mode)

STIG it's been over a year and a half now and still no dyno lol this is true. Let's get you on that dyno so we can all see what the gains are made fully bolted and tuned with evolved. We can't go by butt dynos. Want hard cold facts. And yeah you can say they have dynos of other cars, but let's see yours!

Why does every tuning thread turn into a debate about how Evolve>All?

Evolve isn't all that in a bag of chips..

Evolve isn't bad, it has it's place - For header cars it allows the ability to pass emissions (in states that require them) Oh, and I don't have a lot of proof or personal experience with them to recommend them over anything else.

To me, it's friendly banter, BUT I do think AA is the superior choice.

^ I don't know what research you did, but you buy the manifold and the tune Separately.

You also might want to ensure that your car has the most up to date software available otherwise you could run into complications with Evolve like I did.

They now update your software to the latest version before tuning.

Who told you that?

As of a few weeks ago they didn't from what I experienced.

eBay. eBay.de and eBay.uk

Here's one super good deal. Pm seller if he would ship to the states, he already said he would ship to Germany so im sure he's flexible. I was looking at this one a long time ago but needed up picking one up local from a member here in Germany.
