NE Dragway anyone?

Anyone interested in heading up to NE Dragway on Wednesday night 4/21 for some 1/4 speed practice?

I've been there once in my GTI on a Wednesday night last year. I got in 5 runs in about an hour. There were about 20-30 cars there and it seemed like everyone there felt Wed nights were not crowded.

I'm learning to shift this car and thought a few 1/4 mile runs would be fun. Thought i'd throw out an invite in a separate thread to see if there are any takers.

btw, i'm Dinan stage 2 with 275 rears, for the competitive.

why isn't our car a 1320 car? It's plenty fast, faster than almost anything with 4 seats in stock form... 370z, STi, EVOs, we should compete if not beat all of them stock vs. stock.

Cool! Two tentatives and one definite, plus my friend in his 335, that's 4 so far.

I can't wait to feel this car pulling full throttle through 1st, 2nd AND 3rd gear, probably some of 4th too. Can't do that on the streets of Hometown, USA.

I'm not into lighting up my rears or stressing out my tranny, clutch. But even going fairly normal on the launch, we should be able to pull 13s.

I did 12.9 there, but it is incredibly hard to hook up.. That 12.9 was with wheel spin in 1st thru 3rd. Ran a mix of race gas on a pretty stock car.

I did a 13.0 on normal people gas. And that was the first version of JB3 I had. Oh, and I don't launch - makes me nervous.

I'm down for some 1320 action next week. Going tonight with a friend to watch people or something. Contemplating on bringing the CTSV on the blizzacks

woah, a 1320 night turns into a cupcake fest; i'll take mine after my last run, wouldn't want the extra lbs around the midsection slowing down my reaction times!

any report from last night at the strip?

now if only my camber plate replacement part would show up...

Wednesday night was okay. The better cars ther was a GT-R, 997 turbo, and a matt black M5. All of them were modded. All I can say is rich kids don't know how to drive their cars

Unless anyone wants to get there earlier, I'll plan on getting there around 6pm. The event closes at 10pm. I'd like to get in 5-10 runs, hopefully there won't be many people there and that'll only take a couple of hours.
