What do you guys think/recommend
My car needs new brake pad's and i was thinking about changing the rotors and sensors also since the pads are low and noisy when braking at high speeds and my car hasn't let me know that they need to be changed. What do you guys think about this.
http://www.ecstuning.com/News/BMW_E8...013/ES2649803/ Looking for a bit of an upgrade in the process. Would love to get some non pricey kits that you guys can recommend. Currently driving 09 128I Convertible with sports package. |

If you need new pads you'll need sensors anyway. If your car doesn't shake/vibrate under hard braking, and the rotors are still thicker than minimum thickness, why replace the rotors? As for the kit...I have no experience with the kit but it seems very inexpensive. Beware of cheap rotors! I'm not saying those are, but I'd find out who makes them.

I was looking at ECS as well but take a look at StopTech. They are high quality rotors and pads.

Ok.Thanks. I read that you cant improve the stopping power/performance of BMW brake pads unless you put a big brake kit. So i'm contemplating about just replacing them with the originals.

What brake pad sensors do folks use? Debating OEM vs. aftermarket. Are the $10 Amazon offerings just as good?

Don't mean to hijack but I just got new rotors, pads, and sensors myself for my 09 135i. I bought 2 sensors even though I only needed one so I have an extra one in my garage somewhere. If anyone wants it, just let me know.
