Say You Cant Get A 1 Series, What would you get??

I would either put a GT2871R on my Jetta for 300+whp

or

buy a 2004 IS300, and sign a large check (probably the difference between a 135 and a used IS300) to Powerhouse Racing. Hello 450whp and nothing but wheelspin.

But dont crush me dreams of buying a 135! The wife is already trying to do that!

I mean, I love the feel of German cars, but I gotta say this looks like it would a sweet ride... if they ever actually make it.

Why not? Hyundai has some nice cars out these days. My last car was a 2004 Sonata 4cyl. Depending upon grad school, and whether I stay in my current job (I have a very long commute) I may go with more of a comfortable commuter car in addition to keeping my 325 instead of replacing it with another sporty car in which case another (2006 or newer) Sonata may be on my list (though it would be a V6 this time) and if I decide on an SUV the new Santa Fe is definately high on the list.
