Exactly, the Cayman S has 320 bhp and it's a phenomenal sports car. Cars do not need 300bhp to be great - too many ricer magazines and garage project features have distorted reality.

And when 1M owners tune theirs, they will still have more hp, but Ms are more than just hp as stated above

I won't be in the market for this car, keeping my 135i for 10 years but I will be looking to retrofit as many parts as possible. (LSD,Suspension)

Kind of a funny question. Does anyone know what shoes is Dr. Kay Segler wearing on the photo below. They look like fairly nice driving shoes...

Can someone read what size tires are on the car? I'm quite curious...

One MAJOR factor of the excitement level is the power the car produces, and how it produces it. People coming from a RX-8 will think this thing is FAST. People coming from a C6 Z06 will think this thing is SLOW. And, if it comes out right, people from any car that really do sport driving will think the car handles and feels GREAT! I'm sure if the M3 came with only 200 rated horsepower the sales volume would not be nearly as high. Basically people would see 200hp/3700lbs and instantly decide it was not powerful enough based on that one number, like you were saying. |

Will the 4-banger be somewhat derived from the N55? I'm guessing a 2L with a single twin scroll turbo is in the works. |

I hope I'm wrong, but from this angle that shows both sides it looks like heat shielding and just plastic around the pipes...I really hope I'm wrong.
