Question best fitment please?

i would like to get out of the run flats and into som hankook v12. i am on stock rims and suspension, yet am planning to get bmw performance springs very soon. what is the biggest i can go? i would like to do 225 in the front and 255 in the rear, would 65 fit though? another thing is, i am not familiar with tires and such evidently, and as for as 35, and 40, you know the middle numbers. i have no idea? thank you in advance for any assitance

It all depends on the wheels you have, If you have perfect offset wheels I think a 265 should be no issue, but those wheels are few and far between as the biggest tires you can fit on the stock rears is a 255.

the middle number is the height of the side wall expressed as a function of the tread width. If your going 265 in the rear you should consider a 265/30 tire.

8.5 +40 and 9.5 +45 will require some fender rolling, but 225 front and 245/255 rears would work.
