**JB4 Mobile App Video**

As a labor of love for a fellow forum member, I helped create a short 30 second intro clip for dmacpro91; a dude who has made the dreams for many of us JB4 tuned, tech geeks come true by creating the JB4 Mobile App.

Those not familiar, dmacpro91 created the JB4 Bluetooth connect kit and developed the JB4 Mobile App for iOS and Android devices which allows for real time display on your mobile device to monitor, log, and adjust over 50 different settings for JB4 tuned N54/N55 engines (ie: change maps on the fly, read/clear codes, adjust meth settings, waste gate adaptation, 1st/2nd gear boost limitation, and much, much more). I remember back 7-8 years ago when I was big into the Audi tuning scene, and THIS was the kind of tech that I dreamed about. Anyways, hats off to dmacpro91 for a killer job developing/designing this app.

Enjoy!

Looks awesome!

How do I like JB4 to my iPhone app then? Anyone have a link for a solid phone mount?

What video editing app did you use for those effects? I've been seeing a lot of videos with a similar look. Very cool.

Best holder, hands down:
http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-Air-Ven.../dp/B00JNJPS4W

And go to JB4connectkit.com for the Bluetooth connector that allows you to wirelessly connect your mobile device.

Thanks for the link to the phone holder!

$118 for the bluetooth adapter?!

Plus it's out of stock. Is there something else I can buy to connect my phone to JB4?

This is the holder I have. Holds my phone perfect. Also holds my 7 inch tablet. Love the magnet. Nothing to adjust. Just sticks to it.

Does that work well with your CD player? I originally tried out a similar CD player mounted holder and it wouldn't fit right (keep in mind, e90 335i)

I have the nGroove one too. It's the 1st generation. Not sure what they changed for the new ones but mine gets loose all the time. I've had it fall out when racing people and get stuck in front of the gear shift making me miss third gear. I have better luck inserting it upside down but it still falls out occasionally. I have a note 3 also. A pretty large device but it's light. I wouldn't want to try some of the heavier phones with it.

Can you use the standard Iphone cable and connect it to the USB cable coming from the JB4 and use this app? Use a hard connection instead of the Bluetooth?

No you can't. It's super cheap if you have an Android phone. You only need a $6 OTG cable. Apple doesn't support OTG so you have to buy the custom made cable.

Pretty much. What Android device do you have? Of course some older ones didn't support OTG either. Here's the cable you need. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...x=otg+ca%2Caps

Read this regarding OTG support. http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-te...usb-on-the-go/

Awesome app.

But I Agree. $118 is crazy for the bluetooth adapter. Ended up buying a windows tablet for 80 bucks and a $5 otg micro usb to USB adapter. Cheaper and I have a tablet!!
