hi, we have e90 325 and my father is happy with type 161's...

I have a general wheel question... standart and optional wheel specs are;

6.5*16 et 37 205 55 16
7*17 et 39 215 45 17
7.5*18 et 37 225 45 18

I want to have 19's... how can I understnd if a wheel is suitable or not??? what are the suitable dimensions???

I want to buy a wheel 7*19 et 35 and use with 215/35/19
and use with eibach 50/35.. but I do not know if they suit well or it needs body working???

any suggestions? thanks

Answer: yes that wheel and tire should fit fine.

Question: why downgrade to a 7" wide 19" wheel when a 8.5 will fit?

Question 2: are you looking just for looks from the wheel upgrade?

why are you going with such a thin width size tries? you can go 245 but 235 should be normal. the stock width tire is 225?

1. problem is that original wheel is 4*100;
I can not find 19'' with 4*100; only 7'' or 7.5'' wide...
(and I really liked the wheel that is 7*19 et 35)

2. yes and I do not want to have problems about rubbing the wheel and the body of the car

as I explanied before; 4*100 stock is 205 55 16

I do not want to use more than 225, I want 215 because the car will lower by 50/35; and if the diameter of the tire increases I can have problems...

Silver, do you know how to use the wheel/tire calculator on top of this page? It will tell you what differences to expect with whatever numbers you plug in, compared to stock. You will see that among other things, going with 215 makes no sense, and by doing so, your taking the car a step down in performance.

yes I know how to use the calculator but not too much...
and I do not think that this calculator is efficient...
I think only says the displacement of the wheel on the horizontal axis, based on offset (et) calculation... but if we lower the car, the limit spaces can change from car to car..

4*100 is the PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) of the wheel

You have a 4x100 wheel on your 325? I thought all e90's were 5x120......
