Installed front and rear H&R sway bars. Great mod!

Installed Front and Rear H&R sway bars
I'm still kicking myself in disbelief about how effective this mod is.

I am now driving an entirely different car- turns in on a dime, and corners literally on rails. Never driven anything like it before.

The dreaded and very annoying understeer that is an anwanted feature of 135's and equally annoying body roll is now effectively non-existent except under extreme conditions. Just brilliant. And the bars have, as predicited, had no effect on spoiling the ride.

The turn-in is now spot on- even doing something as boring as changing lanes, can be done with incredible precision. And, at last, it's great to not have that crappy plough/understeer anymore.

As for the rear end, I have noticed a small amount of extra oversteer but, unlike the sloppy, unpredictable and uninspiring oversteer with a standard 135, the oversteer is now much more gradual and easily controllable. Great fun! And how much better would it be again with an LSD........

So, for you guys that don't want to compromise your everyday ride quality, you can keep all your fancy coilovers and adjustable shocks, just get a pair of these H&R sways and you'll be amazed.

Highly recommended.

Great review. I had front and rear sways on my E46 and it was a night and day difference in the drive. I'm just saving up enough now to get the stupid rear sway installed on the 1er. Too bad it's not "easy" to install like on the E46.
