Shorter block height helpers for slightly lower ride height. Bump stop isn't used as a bump stop here, but rather a secondary spring.

Last week i have updated my rs1 to hight adjustable with race spring because i use my 1m mostly for track now.

The eibach pro kit wit jrz rs1 is for road use and some track work the best compromise you can find!

And on the road on soft setting it has much more comfort then original shocks but the car stays nice flat in cornering. When going on track just turn youre shocks above setting 12 you wil have race car feel on track.

I'm buying a JRZ suspension for my 335i but I do not decided yet if I go with fixed sport springs or race springs (custom rate springs). I will drive most time in the street and about 6-7 times year on track but with slick tires (the sport springs will be soft with slicks). Which spring ratio are using in coilover set? How much improvement did got with race springs? How the car feels now in the street?

By the way your video is awsome

Thanks
Sadak

And thanks for all Harold support

if you use slick tires you need harder springs.

I believe i have 50kg springs front but that s for slicks on track to soft. For semi and good streettires it s enough. You could even go for 70kg front. But any harder is a no go for the road. I find 50kg springs already hard for road use.

I use my 1M car mostly for track now.

I found the eibach RS1 kit the best compromise. It was lovely for the street and hard enough for track.

The only thing i missed was hight adjustable that s why i went for race spring setup.

Both 6 and 7 KG front springs give ride quality that is better than OE with the RS1 dampers. With R-comp and slicks you will likely go up to 8 to 9 KG.

What is the compressed spring length of these (red) helpers, as compared to the swift helpers above?

The red ones you see are just under 0.5" compressed and the Swifts are about 1"

If a 135 swapped out the rear lower arms to M3 ones, could we use this kit?

Are the fronts the same?

JRZ RS1 going to a happy 335i customer! 1M struts are the same with the additional adaptors.

Look at the new reinforced anti roll bar mount! All future shipments should be like these.

Equal if not better in both quality and performance, but at a lower entry price would be the Ohlins R&T. No tinkering during the install, bolt-on and go!

I'm using 6kg front and 12kg rear and the car fells very hard on the streets. I live in Brazil and street conditions are very poor.
Since i'm not luck i didn't had the chance to drive with slicks due to rain.
The rs1 are amazing good.
I'm thinking in change the camber plates to stock shock mount to get some confort.

Thanks

6KG and 12KG on the 1M with RS1 ride better than OE. Perhaps it's the roads where you are?

I am having the RS Pro installed on my 1M later this month at the JRZ HQ in the Netherlands. They suggested 40 N/mm for the front springs and 100 N/mm for the rears and 20N/mm helpers for the dual, street/track use. If I understand correctly that translates into 4kg for the front and 10kg for the rear. That appears way softer than most unless the values for the main springs and helpers should add up, in which case I am exactly at 6 and 12 kilos. I will wait and see how this works out for me.

Helpers don't add to the total spring rate. Assist will add progressiveness, but again, not the overall rate.

4kg front and 10kg rear do seem soft. Be on the lookout for spring bind on the front with such low rates.

For reference you are about 1.5kg higher than OE on both front and the rear.

Harold, Thanks. Hmm, I wonder why they have suggested rates as low as these. Will try to find out...

Have you found out about the spring rates they have suggested?
