Are you ****ing kidding me???
So I've decided that I want to get a set of BMW Performance Rims for my baby. Either the 269s or the 313s in 18"...
269: 313: Have been looking at the US dealers' sites while waiting for my local dealer to get back to me with a price... Tischer can do the 269s for $1450 plus shipping or the 313s for a bit more... BMW Brisbane just got back to me with a price of $6110.00 for the 269s!!! WTF? Can anybody confirm that this is the correct price range? It seems ridiculous... Also, has anyone on here imported BMW Performance wheels from the states before? What should I be looking out for? Is there any reason not to do it? What sort of customs charges am I going to be looking at? I'm in shock... - Harlequin |

OJR555 said his were a 4k option when he got his car from Westside. I am trying to buy them off him before he sells his car but he is playin hard ball! $1450 ex shipping is a pretty good price.

Sounds right mate, it's absolute extortion! I inquired on a set of 313s (which gets my vote BTW) and it was $1450 a corner.

It's just ridiculous.... Anyone dealt with Tischer before? I'm seriously tempted to get a set of 313's from them... (web site's not working atm but from memory they were a little over $500USD a corner...)

Website's back up and I was wrong. 313 style fronts are $380 each and rears are $415 each - that's $1590 + shipping for the lot. Current conversion brings that down to $1370AUD. Bargain.

I'm in for 313's too.... If you can get it for 1370 what a bargain,
U can even buy a set of 269's and 313's and still I guarantee you'll be cheaper than buying it from the aus dealers for one set. |

you'll get raped by import duty on a group buy with this stuff guys (that is if you get it all shipped together of course in which case group buys really only work from local suppliers)

Would it be possible to make it two orders, like one for a set of fronts and another for rear... so both orders are under $1000 tax free
I'm not sure if the vendor would do this but worth a shot asking. |

The 18" 313s don't look so good. I've seen a couple of E82s with the 269 and they look amazing. If the budget is large enough, then get the 269. BMW wheel prices are ridiculous here. I was told 6-7k from a dealer for the 19' 313s.

I'm still liking the 313s best...
PS: What's the site you used to do that? Would like to try with Alpine White... |

I really like the 313s, that said FJP135 has the 269s on his - 19's I think - it looks so damn sexy!
Might be worth looking into exactly what the worst case scenario duty is, it will still be significantly cheaper than locally sourcing. Also maybe worth email Andrew at SBM. He might be able to help out if it's a group buy for a few sets. |

I used the BMW performance configurator, not available online you'll have to request one from your dealer. Give me some time and I'll do one in AW for you.
