Bought a set of the 313s from Tischer.
Evan was extremely helpful and they're sending them as 2 shipments so that I don't have to pay Duty and Tax. Came out to about $2400 USD which is $2260 at current exchange rates. That's a little over 1/3rd of what my dealer wanted. CAN'T WAIT TO GET THEM ON!!!! - Harlequin |

313s are the ultimate sex wheels. I prefer them in 19", but 18s are more practical without sacrificing much look. Good choice mate, sounds like a bargain too.

Next is the BMW Performance Suspension I'm still on the fence about getting non-RFTs... Will see how it rides after the upgrade to the running gear... - Harlequin. |

You could look into coilover kits vs BMW perf suspension. They're about the same price, but the perf suspension is just a different set of springs and shocks from stock. Coilovers are a much better overall package.

Yeah... looked into that option and could probably get the KW V3 coilovers for less than the BMWPerf kit if I went the overseas route again but at this point my warranty is the most important thing to me... If not for that.... |

V3s are BALLER and are definitely better than the performance suspension. It's unlikely to give you any woes with warranty unless you have a massive suspension failure for some reason. Even then, they'll have to prove that it was the KWs that caused it. ANYWAY back onto the topic of 313s. Drool.

i doubt that the suspension will void your warranty, i would LOVE to hear them weasle their way out of replacing the HPFP cos you're running V3's

Harley, go for new non runflats and forget BMW Performance suspension, go with KW coilovers.
Make determined warranty decisions, not knee jerk!

Not only will you get your new wheels at a good price from O/S but if you want to sell your OEM rims here you will get a large portion of your money back. There's strong demand for the 18" rims from people who did not go for the M-sport package when they bought their cars.

The TPMS in Australia, as far I've been led to believe, are a function of the ABS sensors which determine inflation by measuring the wheels rolling relative to the others.
In the US, each tyre has a proper sensor which sends real time data back so you can actually check the exact pressures on each wheel and can be checked on the display. Harlequin, Did you option that when you bought it? |

yeh thats what i thought!
I know that in the states it is mandatory for all new cars to come with the sensors in the wheels from factory, but i noticed that on this part of the forum at least, there was no one saying "oh i got new wheels and tyres and now the TPMS isnt working/its giving me warinings" so as you can imgaine i have been quite confused about the issue but didnt think it was a "thread-worthy" topic |
