Front Bumper Scraped
I have a 2006 330i w/ sport package, and I was parking my car in a lot and I heard a crunching noise. I go out to check and the passenger side bottom front bumper is scraped. Is there any way I can remedy the situtation? Thanks!

That sux. Is it on the bottom of the bumper or on a vertical side? How bad's the scrape? If it's just scratched, using Meguiar's Scratch-X will take care of some of it, but it sounds like it's more than just scratched. Short of taking it to a bodyshop for repair/repaint there's not much you can do other than watch out for curbs/parking blocks. It sounds like it's on the bottom.. probably not too noticeable? Anyways, if you're gonna drive your car you'll eventually get some dings/scratches, so don't feel so bad, at least you got your first scratch over with.

Did the PDC on the front not detect the obstacle?

Talking of scrapes. a week ago I noticed 2 nasty scratches on my passenger door so I will have to get the door professionally repaired. Arctic shows the scratches very dramatically - to put it that way hehe. Put the scratches are deep right to the undercoat :-(

Ouch. But arctic, of all your choices, can't be the worst at showing scratches. I mean, your blacks, monoco blue, and sg, because they are much darker will show scratches more readily.

Sorry to see that. I'm sure I would be frustrated too. But really, a scratch like that in that location, isn't that just bound to happen sometime or another to everyone... what with the car given it's clearance and curbs given their height, it's just a matter of when you'll lose focus and attention, and then... SCCRRRATTTCHHH!
