No, sorry no dyno. Only the temp logs I did on the BT Tool which I'll post when I get home. All in all its a real solid piece, and probably the best upgrade I've done down here in the hot Miami weather.

I spoke with Eric over AMS and the 2009 335i has a different charge pipe. And the intercooler will not fit right away. But he does not know about a 2009 135i. I look over mine and charge pipe coming right from the intercooler is 1 piece in a "S" shape. By the pics from your car seems like your pipe has 2 90* sections (which makes the "S"), one of those pieces is replaced by the intercooler 90* reducer hose.
I gave a lot of thought yesterday on how I can make it to work and have some options but I will have to buy some other parts and the intercooler is not the cheapest one to keep dumping money into the mod. On what month you bought your car? I got mine on August; maybe I got the "updated" model. : Also the charge pipe next to the TB has another exit to seem to be a brake booster of some sort. I can see all the way to find where it connects but is facing to the firewall were usually should be the brake booster. I’m all into improvements but this is unexpected. Makes moding more difficult. I thought to change the entire charge pipe to 3" but that additional connector take the idea to another level. I don’t know if is viable anymore. Changing parts on a car that has less than 400 miles is not so comfortable when I have to hack some things. Eric told me that CPE is working on a charge pipe but then thats more $$$. Dr3K0 |

I promised everyone I would post them, and I can't find them :S I think I lost them somewhere or somehow since I'm running Bootcamp on a Mac and have to switch back and forth between Mac OS and Windows I lost it somewhere. I'm gonna have to go out tomorrow and get new ones. But I still remember exactly what they looked like. Overall on a 3rd to 4th gear shift the temperature went from 37 degrees C to around 39.5 degrees C. The ambient air temperature was 29.5. And on my drive to the beach I logged a big portion of the drive and for the most part the IAT's staid around 17 to 18 degrees C lower than the stock intercooler. Thats around 35 degrees F??? If you're on the fence I'd go ahead and tell you to jump, you won't regret it believe me. |
